Tamales! Get ’em while they’re HOT!

Elvia Chavez is a parent of both Swigert and DDS students. She is also an excellent tamale chef. Consider ordering a dozen or two tamales for your next Friday night meal. Complete your order form by Monday at 3:00pm and place it in the office mail box for Tabitha Jones along with your payment (Checks or cash only). Pick up your order the Friday of that same week in the lobby in front of the Swigert office at 3:30pm.

Art Garage for DPS Days Off

Did you forget about Fall Break? Have to work over Thanksgiving or any of the umpteen random days off that are scheduled this year? Don’t worry – Art Garage has you covered! Please see this Art Garage DPS Days Off flyer for listings of day camps and register on their website.

Bladium for Swigert Days Off

Is Swigert school out of session? Camp Bladium has the answer; we provide your child with the fun they are looking for during their much needed break. Your child will leave camp each day enriched and ready for their next Camp Bladium adventure. Check here for the current schedule.

Campers have the opportunity to choose games and activities as part of our focus on their development. Activities include Dodgeball, Soccer, Flag Football, Capture The Flag, Camp Riddles & Line Tag, and Inflatable Fun Zone among many others.

Eurekus Summer Camp

SpaceMakers NASA Week – For Swigert Students Only
Have a blast during this fun-filled week of space-inspired investigation! Learn to solder, design a mission and explore the cosmos with visiting artists and NASA consultants, Tyler & Monica Aiello. Campers build, invent and investigate space science through visual art, kinetic sculpture, model making and tech-based creations. From ancient astronomy to new NASA missions, campers learn about our celestial neighborhood in new and exciting ways. They also gain great STEM skills as they explore and discover together. Projects include: Soldering & electronics, motorized mobiles, kinetic rovers, mission models, mixed-media art projects, rockets and more! 

Times: July 10-14, 2017; 8:30am – 3:30pm; Swigert International School students only
Grades: 2nd – 5th; Min 10-Max 25
Tuition: $250/week; $20/sibling discount; Includes all materials, tech & snack
