I am originally from Arlington Height, IL and moved to Colorado after graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I taught 3rd grade in Winter Park, CO, for five years before moving to Denver and have since earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Literacy and Mathematics. I am fortunate to be one of the founding teachers at Swigert where I have helped to develop our IB program. Outside of school, I enjoy yoga, hiking, skiing, cross country skiing and spending time in the mountains with my husband and our two grown children.
