I am so excited for another great year at Swigert! This year will mark my 18th year of teaching, and 12th year teaching at Swigert. Upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma, I began my career in education teaching Kindergarten at an International IB school in Japan. After returning to the States, I taught first grade in South Carolina, before moving here to Denver 11 years ago. I am endorsed in ELA instruction through DPS, and have an endorsement in gifted and talented instruction through the state of Colorado. When I’m not teaching, I’m busy being a mom to my two amazing children (Asher-8th grade & Adelyn-6th grade). I enjoy Lagree, reading, and spending time with my friends, and family. I look forward to another amazing year with a fabulous group of students, and parents!
