5th Grade Yearbook Cover Contest

We are excited to announce this years Yearbook Cover Contest for 5th graders!

2025-26 Yearbook Cover Contest Rules 

  • The contest is open to all Swigert 5th Graders. 
  • All applicants will be mentioned in the yearbook, but only one will be chosen as the cover!  
  • The winner will get their yearbook for free! 
  • Entries will be judged by the Swigert Staff and yearbook committee. 
  • There is no “theme” this year. You can use Swigert’s logo and colors – an eagle, the learner profiles, the globe, whatever Swigert means to you, etc!
  • Designs must:
    • have school name (Swigert International School)  
    • have school year (2025-2026)  
    • be on 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper (computer paper – no lines)  
    • be as neat as possible with minimal eraser marks
    • be original – the more creative, the better!  
    • have student’s first and last name written on the back (if physical copy is submitted), or listed somewhere on the digital copy where it is not part of the design  
  • Artwork may be submitted as a hard copy or emailed to emily_pool@dpsk12.net. No photos of the work, it needs to be scanned.
  • If you’re turning in a hardcopy by Friday folder, please email emily_pool@dpsk12.net so she knows to ask the teacher for it.
  • By entering this contest, both students and parents agree to have the artwork used without compensation. However, credit will be given to any artwork used in the yearbook– either as the cover or within the book! 

Entries are due by Friday, October 24th!
