My name is David Miller and I love being the STEM teacher here at Swigert. I’m originally from New Jersey, and I’ve called Colorado home since 2016. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 13th in the classroom, the 8th here at Swigert, and my 3rd as a STEM teacher! My wife Rachel teaches at East High School, and our family is rounded out with our sweet “super-mutt,” Duke. I wear many hats besides being a STEM teacher: I am a baseball coach at Northfield High School, most recently the JV Head Coach in Spring 2023. I am also a Teacher Ambassador for the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum through its Teacher Innovator Institutie. I also love soccer – Come On You Gunners!
