Hello, I’m the librarian at Swigert. I have been a part of the Swigert team since 2014. My daughter happily attended Swigert from kindergarten through fifth grade. I’m originally from south Florida, went to undergraduate school at the University of Denver, and received my masters in elementary education at San Francisco State. I taught elementary school for nine years in California and then moved back to Denver. I absolutely love my job as a librarian. Having the chance to explore books with each of the grade levels and helping our students get excited about reading, are two of my favorite things about my job! I am grateful to be a part of such an amazing staff who inspire and help our students grow every day.
