Daphne Jolley grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where she graduated from Fairview High School. From there, she went to Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, where she met her future husband, and later received her MFA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She was fortunate enough to get to spend 8th grade in Herrsching, Germany (near Munich) at the Gymnasium Gilching, and a year of university at Aberdeen University in Aberdeen, Scotland. She has two grown children and a cat. She spends her free time writing children’s books – mostly middle-grade novels.
