Racha Kobitary

My name is Racha Kobitary. I have been part of the Swigert family since 2014 as a parent first, and then as a staff member since 2021.

I hold a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Kingston University (UK) and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Elementary Education from the University of Denver.

I am thrilled to teach 3rd grade; it is the year where the magic happens. In third grade, students develop confidence in their reading and writing skills and become curious mathematicians.

My teaching philosophy centers on placing students at the forefront of their educational experience while embracing the rich diversity that each individual brings to the classroom. I firmly believe that education should not adhere to a standardized mold; instead, it should celebrate and integrate diverse cultural backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
