Hi Swigert families and students! My name is Amanda Seligman and I am a speech language pathologist here at Swigert. I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and got my bachelor’s degree from Indiana University- Bloomington. I graduated with a Masters degree in speech language pathology from the University of Colorado- Boulder in 2008 and have been working as a speech language pathologist in Colorado in both school and clinical settings since that time. I have previously worked at the Children’s Hospital Colorado, the University of Colorado School of Medicine- JFK Partners, the Rise School of Denver, and Sewall Child Development Center before joining Denver Public Schools in 2023. I live in the Central Park neighborhood with my husband and three young children. During my free time, I enjoy yoga and spending time in the mountains hiking, camping, and skiing with my family.
