I am a Denver native, graduating from George Washington High School. I attended Metro State University here in Denver, where my interests leaned towards Forensics and Law Enforcement. My plan was to graduate and work for the Colorado State Patrol. Needless to say, I ended up going a completely different direction! I started working for Denver Public Schools as a teenager, and have been in my current role for over 20 years. I truly enjoy my work and most importantly working with children!
I have two daughters, Mylia, who is married and living the Army life in Tennessee, and Autumn. I am blessed to have such wonderful daughters. I spend my free time with my boyfriend, or pursuing my passion for Photography, watching movies, reading a great book or listening to music. Fall is my favorite time of year, and I love exploring Colorado and having adventures with Autumn and her dog Olly.
