I’m thrilled and honored to be a part of Swigert’s 2nd Grade team. I’ve been involved with our school community since 2017, starting as a parent and volunteer before becoming a staff member. My roles have included paraprofessional, substitute teacher, and resident teacher. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts with a focus on Journalism and graduated from the PEBC (Public Education & Business Coalition) as an Elementary School teacher, receiving the “Resident of the Year” award for my class. I also hold an ELA endorsement through DPS. Teaching at Swigert fills me with pride, and I’m passionate about the IB curriculum. I love being part of a team so dedicated to our students and families. As a Brazilian native who moved to North America as an adult, I am proud to see our school’s diversity growing each year. I moved to Colorado in 2013 after living in Toronto and Boston. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling as much as possible.
