Art display

Good afternoon Swigert Families,

It was great to see so many families come through our open house on Saturday morning and Monday evening. Our students were so excited to be tour guides and I hope it gave families a sense of what their students experience on a day to day basis. As the weather cools we will be outside as much as possible – please remember to have your children dress appropriately and wear layers and do label the coats and jackets.

As we come up on the final week of Hispanic Heritage Month, we wanted to share this video that shares the cultures and traditions of several of our Hspanic and Lanix students and families at Swigert. Thank you Senor Amador, Spanish teacher, Megan Tate. nulti-lingual teacher and juliet Biagji, arts integration specialist for putting this together! Thank you families and students for sharing.

Our art teacher, Ms. Delap, focused several grade level projects on Hispanic artists and artistic representations.
