We are excited to celebrate Swigert International’s 8th Annual Service Day tomorrow—one of our most meaningful traditions that brings our entire school together in the spirit of compassion, service, and community impact.
This year, students across all grade levels will engage in thoughtful, hands-on projects that directly support a variety of incredible nonprofit organizations:
ECE, Kindergarten, MIA: Decorating grocery bags for Project Angel Heart, which will be used to deliver meals to individuals who are ill and creating kindness rocks to spread love and cheer around our school and beyond!
1st Grade: Assembling easy meal care bags for There With Care, supporting families with a child facing a critical illness.
2nd Grade: Assembling care kits for Denver Rescue Mission and completing their penny drive- all proceeds will be donated to Denver Rescue Mission’s project to help prevent homelessness before it happens
3rd Grade:
Building a butterfly memorial rock garden in honor of their classmate, Pippa, who bravely fought neuroblastoma.
Creating letters and cards for children facing cancer in support of the Morgan Adams Foundation.
4th Grade: Visiting residents at Balfour Senior Living Center to build connections, sing, and brighten their day.
5th Grade:
Creating and delivering sack lunches for Senior Support Services, supporting seniors experiencing homelessness.
Making Mother’s Day craft kits, fleece tie blankets, and “snack buddies” for patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
We are especially honored to welcome our guest speaker, Kyle Clark, who will help kick off our day. Kyle is supporting one of our service initiatives by highlighting the Morgan Adams Foundation as part of his weekly microgiving campaign—helping to amplify the impact of our students’ efforts beyond our school walls.
