THE WHY
Swigert is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school where your child receives the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills to live, learn, and work in a rapidly globalizing world. To be certified as an IB School, we must fund an IB coordinator, a foreign language program, and supplement funds to keep our teachers IB trained. This comes at a cost of more than $100,000 each year. This cost is NOT covered by Denver Public Schools. Flip over this flyer to find a list of things funded by this drive!
Spirit Week!

Leading up to the color run, we encourage our students to wear the color of the day!
Monday 9/28 – Red
Tuesday 9/29- Orange
Wednesday 9/29 – Green
Thursday 9/30 – Blue
Friday 10/1 – Color run shirt (Color Run Shirts, donated by the PTA, will be provided for each student on Friday).
Color Run!
The color run is a fun run around the field where students will run through color chalk powder stations. By reaching a daily fundraising goal, they “earn” a color station for the run. The run will take place on the playground on the large grass field inside the gates. Parents are welcome to come watch by lining up on the outside perimeter of the fence! Classes will be brought outside starting at 2:30 pm starting with our younger grades. Each grade will make one lap around the field by grade level.

Time details:
All classes will come outside around 2:30. After all the runs are complete, they will head to their normal dismissal spots for pick up!
