I love teaching music at Swigert! I have been teaching elementary school music since 2007 and truly believe it is what I was born to do. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and love it here. I studied music education, percussion, and voice at the University of Northern Colorado. To me, there is no sweeter sound in the world than children singing. I am constantly singing myself, and am delighted to sing and occasionally play percussion with the Colorado Chorale here in Denver. When I’m not teaching or performing music, you can find me playing trivia with my husband, and spending time with our 4 children and large extended family.
