Hi everyone. I am so excited to be returning as a member of the Swigert Fifth Grade Team! I am originally from Los Angeles but have called Denver home for the last five years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education from Indiana University, go Hoosiers!, and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from CSU Northridge. After ten years teaching fifth grade, I am now pursuing my PhD in education with a focus on elementary social studies and teacher education. Outside of education, soccer is a huge part of my life, whether I’m playing, coaching, or watching. I also love exploring Denver, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time in the mountains. I am looking forward to a great year!
