Hello! My name is Kathryn Eliot and I am thrilled to be joining the first grade team at Swigert! I was born and raised in Denver and am so happy to be back in my hometown. This will be my third year teaching. I spent the past two years teaching first grade in Austin, Texas. I love teaching first grade and am so excited to be able to continue teaching this fun age. I completed my undergraduate degree at DU and have a Master of Arts in teaching from UNC. While not at school, I enjoy reading, hiking and playing fetch with my dog Pepper. I look forward to getting to know all of the wonderful people in the Swigert community and can’t wait to get started in August!
