Hi my name is Kelly Benson and I am so excited to be teaching ECE4 next year here at Swigert! My background started in music with a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Indiana University and I have taught strings in the neighborhood for many years. Most recently, I earned my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of Colorado Denver as well as an endorsement in ECE. I am incredibly passionate about teaching young learners and look forward to being back in the classroom. I have three boys, two of which attend Swigert and in my free time I enjoy spending time with them and my husband, Jake, as well as running, reading and being in the mountains.
