I am a Denver native and a DPS graduate. I attended Metro State University, where my interests leaned towards Forensics and Law Enforcement. My plan was to graduate and work for the Colorado State Patrol. Needless to say, I ended up going in a completely different direction! I started working for Denver Public Schools as a teenager, have been in my current role as Office Manager for 27 years, and I am one of only a few startup “year 0” Swigert employees. I truly enjoy my work and most importantly working with children!
I have two grown daughters. Mylia and Autumn. Both live out of state. I have a 1 year old granddaughter, Lulu who keeps Mylia and her husband entertained . Lulu lights up our worlds with her toddler shenanigans!
I have a custom tshirt business, hand paint furniture, and love going on driving adventures in my free time. I’m typically on the go or creating something.
I am very proud of how Swigert has grown and evolved over the years, and I love being a part of this community since its inception. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!
